Company Overview

Since its founding in 1989, Artcraft Engraving & Printing has grown steadily into South Florida’s largest and most prestigious engraving and printing firm. In recent years, the company has added an extensive line of office products and furniture, as well as a broad array of imprinted promotional products, but its core business remains finely engraved stationery and all types of business and personal printing.

The Narup name has been synonymous with fine engraved stationery for more than 60 years, so it’s not surprising that company president Rick Narup has built Artcraft Engraving & Printing into the clear leader in the South Florida market. Narup literally grew up in the business, helping make deliveries during his childhood summers and joining his family’s engraving company full time when he was just out of high school.

After the business was sold, Narup joined forces with Bill Sayers to form Artcraft in 1989. At the time, Sayers, also a South Florida native, had 15 years of solid experience in the printing and paper industries.

Beginning with five employees, three pieces of second-hand equipment and 3,000 square feet of space, the company grew steadily and in 1995, expanded into a facility double its original size. Just five years later, Artcraft moved to its current location on West 26th Avenue in Miami, where 14 presses are kept busy supplying exceptional engraved and printed products to law firms, banks, Fortune 500 companies, five-star resorts, and other customers throughout Florida and the Caribbean.

In 2007, the addition of Pat Shanahan as a partner and vice president of sales and marketing rounded out the Artcraft executive team and further enhanced the company’s commitment to stellar customer service. Although engraving remains Artcraft’s core business, other services have been added over the years, including offset printing, thermography, foil stamping, embossing, die cutting, and binding, as well as an extensive selection of imprinted promotional products. A sister company, Executive Office Products, now offers a line of office supplies and furniture, making Artcraft a one-stop-shop for its customers’ business needs.

As a home-grown Miami success story, Artcraft is committed to being a full partner in the community it serves. The company proudly supports Special Olympics, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, United Way, Gilda’s Club, and numerous local charitable and service organizations.
